Meet Emily
A yoga practice built around connection, not perfection.
I’ve been practicing yoga for 18 years, and teaching it for 15 years, and one of the things I love most about yoga is that it can meet us exactly where we are.
Some days we need movement and energy. Other days we need to slow down, breathe, and simply be still.
My approach to teaching reflects that.
I’m a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with additional training in prenatal yoga, postpartum yoga, and restorative yoga. I’ve taught group classes, workshops, and private in-home sessions.
My experience as a birth doula also gave me a deeper understanding of the physical and emotional journey of pregnancy, labor, and birth. I bring that perspective into my prenatal yoga teaching, creating classes that help expecting parents feel more comfortable, grounded, connected, and confident in their changing bodies.
Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate just how personal yoga can be and how it can support us and evolve with us as we move through life. The practice that feels wonderful for one person, or one season of life, may not be right for another - and that’s where private yoga can be so valuable.
A practice designed for you.
When we work together, we aren’t trying to fit you into a predetermined class.
Instead, I get to know you, your goals, your experience with yoga, and what your body needs. From there, we create a practice that feels supportive and sustainable.
My teaching often incorporates gentle and restorative yoga, slow-flow movement, mobility, breathwork, and relaxation.
Why in-home yoga?
I love the intimacy and ease of bringing yoga into someone’s own space.
You can practice in an environment where you already feel comfortable, without having to travel to a studio or worry about whether you can “keep up”.
Private yoga can be especially meaningful for people who prefer a quieter environment, want more individualized attention, or simply want yoga to fit naturally into their lives.
My philosophy
Yoga isn’t about touching your toes or achieving the perfect pose.
It’s about developing a deeper relationship with your body, your breath, and yourself.
My goal is to help you feel more comfortable, capable, and connected - both on your mat and beyond it.
Private Yoga. Brought to You.
